Massachusetts Association for Mental Health

MAMH works with individuals with mental illness and their family members or friends to help them access services, whether housing, treatment, education, employment, or health insurance. Our referrals come from the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, as well as from our network of supporters.

Massachusetts Health Council is a non-profit, non-partisan statewide organization of more than 150 governmental and voluntary agencies, consumer and advocacy groups, professional societies, and private corporations committed to improving and protecting the health of the residents of the Commonwealth.

Mental Health America of Illinois

Since 1909, MHAI’s mission has been to foster mental health, prevent mental illnesses, and improve the care and treatment of persons suffering from mental and emotional disorders. Through initiatives that advocate, educate, or inform people about mental illness, MHAI has built awareness for mental illness improved the lives of people living with these disorders.

Mental Health America of Indiana

The mission of Mental Health America of Indiana is to work for the mental health of all citizens and for victory over mental illness and addictive disorders through public education, advocacy and public health reform.

Mental Health Association in Michigan

The Mental Health Association in Michigan is a voluntary membership citizens' organization representing a broad base of people working together as an advocate for individuals with mental illness. It is the only statewide, non-governmental agency concerned with the broad spectrum of mental illness across all age groups.

MichBio

MichBio is the biosciences industry trade association and the official Michigan affiliate of the Biotechnology Industry Organization. Its mission is to drive biosciences industry growth in Michigan. MichBio promotes cooperation between Michigan's bioscience-related businesses, forges stronger relationships, develops business-to-business opportunities, and serves as a united industry voice to improve the overall science-friendly environment for attracting and founding new business.

Michigan Osteopathic Association

The Michigan Osteopathic Association represents more than 8,000 osteopathic physicians and students and promotes osteopathic medicine in Michigan by shaping the health care delivery system to better serve the community. One aspect of care osteopathic physicians provide is preventive medicine. D.O.s are fully licensed to prescribe medicine and practice in all specialty areas, including surgery. D.O.s are trained to consider the health of the whole person and use their hands to help diagnose and treat their patients.

NAMI Delaware is a statewide organization of families, mental health consumers, friends, and professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by life-changing brain diseases such as schizophrenia, bipolar disease, and major depression. Our mission is to support, to educate, and advocate until there is a cure for severe and persistent mental illness.

NAMI Indiana

NAMI Indiana is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of people afflicted by serious and persistent mental illness. NAMI Indiana consists of families, consumers, and professionals. We are dedicated to helping families through a network of support, education, advocacy, and promotion of research.

NAMI Massachusetts

The mission of NAMI Massachusetts is to improve the quality of life both for people with mental illnesses and for their families. We seek to extend the education, support, and advocacy programs of NAMI Massachusetts so that we will reach out to all Massachusetts consumers and their families; improve the public’s awareness and understanding of mental illnesses; and advocate at all levels to ensure all persons affected by mental illnesses receive, in a timely fashion, the services that they need and deserve.

NAMI North Carolina

The mission of NAMI North Carolina is to promote recovery and optimize the quality of life for those living with mental illness. The NAMI movement focuses specifically upon those mental illnesses that are brain disorders. Membership in the nearly forty affiliates in North Carolina consists of family members of people who live with mental illness, individuals who live with mental illness, friends, and professionals.

NAMI Ohio

NAMI Ohio is the state's voice on mental illness. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and ensure dignity and respect for persons with serious mental illness, and offer support to their families and close friends. As a grassroots organization advocating for mental health issues, NAMI Ohio has an outstanding history of affecting public policy and legislation regarding care and resources for persons with serious mental illness.

NAMI Virginia

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Virginia was created in 1985 to provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families in Virginia affected by mental illness. Our mission is to promote recovery and improve the quality of life of Virginians with serious mental illness through support, education, and advocacy.

NC Bio

NCBIO is dedicated to promoting the future growth and development of North Carolina's bioscience industry. NCBIO advocates for state and federal public policies that encourage the growth of life science companies, support the development of a strong life science workforce, and promote research and technology transfer at universities and other institutions.

NC Psychological Association

North Carolina Psychological Association is a professional organization designed to serve the interests of psychologists in North Carolina. NC Psychological Association advocates for psychology as a science, a profession, and a means of promoting human welfare. It provides an organized voice for psychologists and promotes high standards for the profession. The interests of independent professional practice psychologists are aided by the NCPA Division of Independent Professional Practice. NCPA is the North Carolina affiliate of the American Psychological Association.

Neuropathy Action Foundation

The Neuropathy Action Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to improving neuropathy patients’ quality of life through patient empowerment and advocacy. NAF’s goal is to educate patients and physicians on becoming informed advocates for neuropathy as well as supporting programs that increase awareness of neuropathy.

New York Conference NAACP

The NAACP New York State Conference has been a vital programmatic component of the national organization for 75 years of its 102-year history. Ohio Osteopathic Association

The Ohio Osteopathic Association is a non-profit professional association that advocates for Ohio's 4,053 licensed osteopathic physicians (DOs), 18 health-care facilities accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens. A divisional society of the American Osteopathic Association, OOA has been serving the osteopathic profession and the citizens of Ohio since 1898. The OOA's mission includes promoting Ohio's public health and advancing the distinctive philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine.

Open Minds Open Doors

Open Minds Open Doors is a community campaign driven by residents of Clackamas County, Oregon and managed by community partner FolkTime. Open Minds Open Doors is working to change attitudes, and challenge the myths and fears around mental illness and addictions. The campaign is designed to reduce the stigma around mental illness and addictions issues. “Community partners believe that together, we can make a difference by creating a community conversation and shedding light on the issue of stigma”.

Oregon Bioscience Association

The Oregon Bioscience Association’s mission is to be a catalyst for expanding the bioscience community,fostering collaboration and stimulating commercialization. Oregon’s bioscience industry (643 companies and research institutions) produces world-class research and development; medical devices/diagnostics; therapeutics; bio-agriculture and bio-fuels products. To support our industry’s growth, Oregon Bio also provides innovative workforce training programs, networking events and effective public policy forums designed to accelerate the growth of our economic sector.

Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association

The Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association (RGVDA) was formed in 2007, by area doctors and business leaders, to provide diabetes education to the residents of Hidalgo County. Our mission is to operate as an independent and local not-for-profit diabetes association for Hidalgo County. This allows RGVDA to provide programs and services tailored specifically for our area and guarantees that ALL funds generated by RGVDA are used for the residents of Hidalgo County. We are the second organization of this nature in the state of Texas. Our mission is to operate as an independent and local not-for-profit diabetes association for Hidalgo and Cameron Counties.

RX Partnership

We are a public/private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to prescription medication for low-income uninsured Virginians. To do that we partner with six pharmaceutical companies that donate medication in bulk to 22 free clinics and community health centers throughout the Commonwealth. To date, the Rx Partnership has helped deliver more than $64.1 million retail value of medication to 40,000 uninsured Virginians!

South Carolina Diabetes Today Advisory Council

The South Carolina Diabetes Today Advisory Council (DTAC) is a non-profit organization organized to increase awareness, provide relevant information, and assist with community-based prevention activities for people with or at risk for diabetes. DTAC members work with South Carolina residents to encourage independence, learning, and the development of skills necessary to prevent and manage diabetes.

South Carolina HIV/AIDS Care Crisis Task Force

The South Carolina HIV/AIDS Care Crisis Task Force is a non-partisan advocacy coalition of individuals, non-profit organizations, and allies from across South Carolina committed to improving the response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in our state.

Tacoma Area Coalition for Individuals with Disabilities

TACID is the Tacoma Area Coalition for Individuals with Disabilities. Our mission is to promote the independence of individuals with disabilities. Peer support and advocacy is a cornerstone of our work to assure that people with disabilities have access to housing, employment, healthcare, essential needs, skills development, and education support. TACID's peer support programs operate in Pierce County and throughout the State of Washington.

Tech Council of Maryland

TCM is the largest technology trade association representing over 500 tech and biotech companies, along with government, academia and service providers, who employ more than 250,000 people in Maryland and the region.

The Alliance for Patient Access

The Alliance for Patient Access (AfPA) is a national network of physicians whose mission is to ensure and protect patient access to approved medical treatments and therapies including prescription pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices.

The Center for Health Care Services

The Center for Health Care Services in San Antonio, TX is the local community mental health authority providing mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities services. The Greater Baltimore Urban League

The Greater Baltimore Urban League has been helping disadvantaged Marylanders gain access to equal opportunity in employment, education, health care, housing and the civic community capacity building, information dissemination and technical assistance, the League accomplishes its mission to improve social and economic conditions and opportunities or African-Americans and other people who face barriers to full participation in American society.

Urban League of Detroit & Southeastern Michigan
